Not everyone lives with their culture in the forefront, and some people even lose sight of who they are as they navigate busy and challenging lives. It’s never too late to re-examine your point of view, though, and commit yourself to the health and wellness, for your sake, and the sake of those around you. In this story Dee-Anne Sack talks about the trajectory of her life, how witnessing and experiencing traumas took a toll on her wellbeing, and how she made the choice to strengthen herself through her culture so that she could give back to the communities that surrounded her.
